SISU works with 12U–18U hockey players and their families, from House and recreational programs through A, AA, AAA, and high school hockey.

No. SISU is based in Columbus, Ohio, but works with players and families throughout the United States and Canada.

You don’t need to have that figured out before reaching out. Tell Tom where your player is in their hockey journey, what goals they’re working toward, and what questions your family has. He can help determine which level of support makes the most sense.

The $199 Player Evaluation & Assessment includes an initial consultation, player evaluation, film review, written evaluation, prioritized development areas, a follow-up call, and email support.
The goal is to give your player an honest understanding of where they stand today and what they should focus on next.

Pathway Planning is SISU’s 12-month advising service for families looking beyond the current season and thinking about their player’s next two to five years.
It includes ongoing advising, player evaluation, development planning, film review, recruiting guidance, team and program recommendations, follow-up support, an end-of-season debrief, written season summary, and off-season recommendations.
Investment: $2,599, with payment available monthly over a 10-month period.

No, and Tom will always be upfront about that.
SISU provides experienced guidance, honest feedback, and recommendations based on the individual player. There are no shortcuts or unrealistic promises when it comes to development.

The value of having an advisor is getting an honest, experienced perspective, even when that means having a difficult conversation. Tom describes his approach as tough but fair, and his recommendations will always be based on what he believes is best for the player.

Yes. Tryout Consultation is designed for families navigating tryouts, teams, programs, and potential opportunities who want an experienced perspective before making a decision.

Yes. Video Analysis is available for $99 and gives families an experienced set of eyes on their player’s game.
For families looking for more comprehensive support, film review is also included within Player Evaluation & Assessment and Pathway Planning.

Tom will review the information you provide about your player and reach out to start a conversation. From there, you can talk through where your player is now, what your family is navigating, and the best next step.
Before beginning services, families will complete SISU’s more detailed Client Intake Form and Player Assessment Snapshot so Tom has the information he needs to understand the player.
